Affiliate Disclosure

Dressing Time is funded by affiliate commissions. When you buy something after following a link from this site, we may receive a commission. You pay the same price either way — the commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket.

Where affiliate links appear

Affiliate links appear on review articles that carry product picks. They do not appear in every article: a large share of what we publish is pure buying guidance with no commercial outbound links at all. We don't add links just to have them there.

How links are labeled

On any page that carries an affiliate link, a disclosure line sits directly beneath the picks heading — the same screen, and close enough that you see it before you click rather than after.

Outbound links also route through an interim page at /go, which shows a second visible disclosure and names the destination domain before you continue. You can cancel on that page instead of proceeding. Two further things worth stating plainly:

• Outbound links carry rel="nofollow sponsored". That attribute is readable by search engines; it is not something you can see as a reader.
• Where a page links to Amazon, it carries the additional statement required by the Amazon Associates program.

What commissions don't change

• We don't accept payment to publish a review, or to change one after publication.
• Commission rates don't decide which products we pick. Picks come from published specifications, brand measurement charts and what owners report over time.
• We don't run a testing laboratory and we don't claim to. Where a number can't be sourced, we say so rather than estimating it.
• We don't publish cashback rates or internal commission percentages — those are internal figures, and putting them on the page would misrepresent what you'd actually receive.

Prices and availability

Prices shown on this site are what was displayed at the time we checked. They move. Treat any figure as a snapshot, not a quote, and check the current price at the retailer before buying.
